CERTIFICATION OVERVIEW
The Recovery Residence Alliance Montana (RRAM) is recognized as a certifying organization for recovery homes by the Montana Department of Health and Human Services and the state of Montana. In addition, RRAM is the official Montana state affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR).
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
RRAM's network of certified recovery home operators provides the highest level of service to their residents in the state of Montana. The review process is meant for homes that meet the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) definition of recovery housing.

LEVELS OF SUPPORT

Peer-Run recovery residences are operated by the residents themselves, with no external management or oversight from outside sources.

Supervised recovery residences have more intense levels of oversight than monitored residences and require residents to adhere to strict guidelines.

Monitored recovery residences have a staff who oversees operations, provides guidance and support, and ensures that all tenants are following rules.

Service provider recovery residences are typically operated by organizations or corporations. and offer a wide range of services and activities for their residents.
